My love for German Spitz Klein started in 2010, when I was just nine years old.
We already had Spaniels at home, and although I loved them, they were simply too strong for me to handle in Junior Handling Classes. We'd had a Spitz before, Tilly, but in 2010 I got my own dog.

Bruin was the dog who really introduced me to the breed. He was my companion, my Junior Handling partner and the beginning of a love for German Spitz that has stayed with me ever since.
What started with one little dog when I was nine has grown into the Fecimus family we have today.

More than a decade after Bruin came into my life, German Spitz are still very much at the heart of our home. Today, Fecimus is a small family programme in Lincolnshire, with our dogs enjoying life as pets alongside their time in the show ring. We breed only occasionally, raising our puppies here at home and giving them the same start I would want for any dog joining our family.

Our adults are fed Skinners Field & Trial dry food mixed with fresh Butternut Box. Twice a week, they enjoy raw chicken wings for dental health and natural chewing enrichment.
Puppies are introduced to gentle, highly digestible meals divided into four smaller daily feeds, supporting steady growth, strong bone structure, and calm digestive health.
All our adult dogs receives salmon oil for coat shine and PlaqueOff for daily oral care. Our older dogs also get Brain Copa and green-lipped mussel powder to support their neurological health and keep joints comfortable and supple.
WEIGHT & CONDITION
Maintaining Healthy Body Condition
German Spitz have dense double coats that easily hide changes in weight. We assess body condition by hands-on feeling under the coat rather than relying on scales. checking that ribs are readily felt under a light layer of tissue and that a clear waistline remains.
Keeping dogs lean protects their joints, supports longevity, and keeps them agile and bright whether in the show ring or enjoying outdoor walks around the English countryside.
